this is a good photo because it shows a car performing a difficult task that shows off the ability of the car 

I chose this because it shows 2 identical cars next to each other offroading 

i chose thease photos because they show the cars clearly with them driving and stationary to display capability and looks with them doing activity such as off-roading 

I chose this for the double page spred because it shows a car going down a steep hill which my target audience would enjoy because they want to see the capibitys of the car

 Brand new 2023 range rover and land drover put to the test to determine what is best off road with different categories comfort, speed, agility, price, handling, wade depth, size, grip and durability the range rover has a max speed of 140 mph which Is fast for a car weighing 2.77 tonnes with an acceleration of 5.5 seconds which is fast for a car that heavy. The range rover can wade a huge 900 mm in water and has sensors to detect how far up the car the water is with torque 5,000 revs per minute and 460 horse power it has a kerb-to-kerb turning circle of 10.95 m but with a starting price of 115,000 pounds the range rover is very expensive but it makes up with luxury's like a big centre console and moveable leather seats with memory functions to have your seat saved and heads up display there is a lot of leg room in the front and back seats and a wireless phone charger even has an air quality reading the car has a lot of head room 999 mm and a hole hight of 1,870 mm which makes the car tall but it does not feel unstable in corner and slopes it has lots of off road tec with the ride hight going from 209 mm to 284 mm in off road setting.  

 

The land rover defender 110 2023 top speed 119 mph and 0-60 in 7 seconds this is possible with a 1,997 cc 300 horsepower the defender has a lot of torque 1,500 – 4,500 rpm with is big engine it doses 25.4 mpg the defender has a wade depth the same as the range rover of 900 mm. The range rover is lower than the defender being 1967 mm high and base price is £66,685 which is a lot less than the range rover and has remarkably similar specifications the defender can tow a lot more weight 500 kg more than the range rover with it being 3,000 which is impressive, but the defender can do 3,500  

 

 The Porsche Taycan is electric sports car with 5 doors with a whopping 750 brake horsepower which make the Taycan go from 0-60 in 2.7 seconds and a top speed of 162 mph with its sleek design it looks Moden and sporty which is what you expect from Porsche it handles incredibly well and with a range of 291 miles  the batters are as low in the car as possible to make the centre of gravity as low as possible the Taycan has an amazing interior compared with its competition it also has low deprecation which means it holds its value but without an engine to make a good sound but porches makes up for this with electric sounds which hum as you accelerate  

my article fits code and conventions with the language beying just about cars and very statistic orientated which is the same as most magazines with simplistic language so it can be understood by lots of different people

this is my magazine next to a real magazine and this follows conventions because the magizine has a color theme that stands out and that stays the same with the banners with similar text in the banners and a simplistic look and big titles and fonts that stand out and simple banners

LO3: Creating production materials

 

I made a cover lines of a grey box with a orange exstira to which I will add text into the box it fits the magazine because it has the house colore outside the box and gray inside because the writing will be more difficult to read if it was orange 

I made a banner it fits with my magiazine because it has the same housecolors and font and has text relevant to content of the magazine I made it with an orange band at the bottom of the front cover with text over the top 

I I edited this picture so it would fit into the gap and then color corrected it 

I used my house colour for the text on the content page with a simple font with the contents of the magizine on the page  

I added my masthead to the contents page to keep a constant theme through the magazine so people will know what the name is even if you are not on the front cover 

I got this image to fit into the borders to make the contents page more intresting 

I created this collage of picures to make my double page spread have more content and interring pictures into a small space added a sighn saying the corse to show off the places the cars go around 

I created this pictures with text underneath made the text white to make the text stand out
